In Slovakia, there has been a long-term stagnation in the advisory system, which is due to the fact that the resources allocated for advisory services under the Rural Development Programme of the Slovak Republic for the programming period 2014-2020 (hereafter RDP) have not yet been possible to use.

According to the Farm Structure Survey for 2016, in Slovakia, there were 25 658 farms of legal entities and natural persons, which managed 1 889 819 ha of agricultural land (Ekonomika poľnohospodárstva, volume XIX. 1/2019). Click below to download the report.
